Job description:

Craft Beer Delivery Driver/Must have experience delivering beer.

Steel Toe Brewing – Saint Louis Park, MN

This is a full-time salaried position working 4 x 10-hour days. Duties include but are not limited to delivering beer in kegs, bottles and cans and occasionally helping around the brewery, various tasks.

Expectations:

Must have a clean driving record,be insurable, pass DOT exam. Excellent attendance and timeliness

Must be able to lift up to 165 lbs and perform strenuous work for extended periods of time. Use hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift (training will be provided)

Willingness to take direct direction and learn Perform tasks with little to no supervision

Sense of urgency - hustle

Able to get the job done, whatever is required any given day

Principle Responsibilities:

Load and unload product from delivery vehicle Drives van or straight/box truck to destinations. Keep truck clean inside and out.

Provide excellent customer service to all accounts. Accurate invoicing and handling cash/checks

Secondary Responsibilities:

Assist in brewery production/cleaning including washing kegs, moving product to and from coolers, cleaning brewery, attend occasional beer festival and any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Advanced understanding of Steel Toe Brewing products (training will be provided).

• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Ability to speak and write the English language at least at the high school level is required.

• Able to represent Steel Toe well when in public and at events.

• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.

• Ability to read maps/directions and operate GPS units.

• Ability to add and subtract, using whole numbers and decimals.

• Able to learn from mistakes and move forward with a positive attitude.

• Ability to communicate with teammates, supervisor, and current and prospective customers on a professional level.

• Maintain adherence to all Company policies and procedures.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to fill orders.

• Ability to handle products weighing 0 - 165 pounds.

• Ability to bend and stoop.

• Ability to perform repetitious tasks
