Piper Pale Ale

Piper Pale Ale was brewed in collaboration with the 18th Annual Piper Classic Disc Golf tournament at Blue Ribbon Pines where all money raised is donated to an animal at the Minnesota Como Zoo. This year the Piper has chosen to raise money for the Arctic Fox. This pale ale is brewed with Citra & Vic Secret hops that create a dank resinous pineapple aroma and flavors of peach & pineapple with a subtle floral bite. The four Arctic Foxes at the Como Zoo are named Stella, Shy Guy, Koopa & Bowser – These names all come from characters in what iconic video game series?

Marzen Lager

Steel Toe’s traditional example of this style begins with hues of deep gold and orange, capped with glorious foam that journeys into biscuit malt and subtle caramel flavor and aroma. Medium body with a smooth, silky mouthfeel that is accented by a touch of bitterness. Prost!

SIZE 7 IPA

While the size of the boot might be a bit small, the intensity of the hop flavor and aroma more than makes up for it. We take prodigious amounts of hops and add them any chance we get to this Pacific Northwest-style IPA. If you ever call Size 7 balanced we’ll kick you where it hurts (in the hop sack). Big aroma and flavor of lemon-lime and zesty orange peel with a dry and clean bitter finish.

DUNKEL - German LAGER

This German-Style Dark Lager is brewed with 100% German malt. Clear ruby brown with flavors & aromas of rich Munich malt, toasted bread & subtle caramel. Medium/low hop bitterness gives this Dunkel perfect balance.

SPLIT POINT - PILSNER

German-Style Pilsner brewed using 100% imported German malt & only the finest noble hops. Crystal clear and pale straw in color with pillowy white foam. Exemplifying a crisp, cracker like malt base and traditional floral hop character.

SOMMER VICE Bavarian-style Hefeweizen

A true to style Bavarian-style Hefeweizen, brewed to be perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day. Aromas of baked bread, from the malted wheat, are accompanied by banana, clove, and hints of lemony citrus from a traditional strain of yeast.

Sacrifice hop aroma and flavor in a lower alcohol IPA? We think not! Brewed to embody the best hop qualities of a highly aromatic and flavorful IPA, yet ever mindful of the desire to have a few. Loaded with pungent hops to impart aromas of blueberry, lime candy, and juicy fruit; a defined, yet balanced bitterness finishes the beer.

BEFORE THE DAWN (Variable release)

An American Black Barleywine aged in Rye Whiskey barrels. Complex aromas and flavors of whiskey, toasted marshmallow, dark chocolate, and dried fruit from extended barrel aging fill the senses. Rich roasted and caramel malt sweetness becomes balanced by warming alcohol and subtle oak tannins.
